Illustration by poul steffensen from the danish novel gjøngehøvdingen by carit etlar which takes place during and after the dano-swedish war in 1657-1658. The danish gønger has been going over the thin ice to a small island. Afterwards they have been making noise to lure the swedish cavalry into following them.
