Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 49, July 1916

49. Cross - grave monument, in the courtyard of the beshovish monastery "st. Archangel", vrachansko. Carved from white soft limestone stone in 1879; four-winged; the lower wing is larger and is buried without a plinth in the ground; the upper one expands outwards and on its upper side there are three semicircles - the cap on the face, on which three crosses are engraved; in the middle of the face of the cross there is a cross made in relief with semicircular ends; its upper three wings cross one more time; where the wings cross, two lances emerge from the sides, one has a palm-shaped decoration on the top, and the sun and the moon are also embossed on the lower wing. Dimensions: 106x52x17 cm. Sketched in july 1916. (vol. 2, obr. 18. ). Date: July 1916.
