Portrait of frederick iii, king of denmark, bust, looking to right, wearing an ermine trimmed cloak and the order of the elephant, a crown by his left shoulder, in an octagonal oval within a rectangular frame, crowned royal arms at their base; all within a decorative surround, a flame at top with pipe-playing putti held up by wings to either side and a lion's head and forepaws held down by flowers and fruit below.
