317. Cross - tombstone, in the cemeteries of the town. Silistra, carved from calcareous tuff. An inscription with the date 1864 is carved on its back. Dimensions: 48x40x14 cm. Its upper and lower wings are large, trapezoidal, and turned with their large bases outwards. The lateral wings are small and quartered. An isosceles cross is carved in its middle, and on its sides, on the small wings, a shallow square niche. Both the cross and the niches are circled parallel to their surrounding contours with engraved line. Sketched on 25. Viii. 1917. (t. 8, obr. 5. ). Date: 25 August 1917.
