Stereoscopic photography consists of two identical prints glued to a backing without any company markings. They show the krakow barbican from the side of st. Florian's gate. The silhouette of the building was shown in bright light, sharply highlighting the architectural detail. On the left there are low buildings, and on the right, in the background, high tenement houses and a fragment of a tree with a dark human figure standing next to it. The presence of the man's silhouette in the frame makes it possible to capture the proportions of the building. In the foreground, visible partly in the shadow, is a vast paved square with an alley leading deeper, towards the right side of the barbican, surrounded by a low fence. It is contrasted by a uniformly bright, cloudless sky. There are museum markings at the edges of the base. The photograph is kept in the collections of the jan matejko house. It is known that the artist was interested in many fields of art.
