La reine Louise-Marie de Belgique - Lauters, Paul Lauters, 1854

La reine Louise-Marie de Belgique - Lauters, Paul Lauters, 1854

H. M. Queen louise of belgium. — in the book, the engraving was colored by hand (watercolor). It is therefore not a color printing method, as in the case of chromolithography. The engraving has three signatures, which is very rare: that of the painter, the designer, and the engraver. There is also mention of the city (antwerp) of the engraver, which is also very rare. In the background of the engraving, we can see the rear of the royal castle of laeken. Date: 1854.
