Field post letters from hans koch, vienna, world war ii, eastern front, 1922-1945 previous letter (1944-05-19) letter no. 248 (1944-05-24) next letter (1944-05-25) envelope: front back text [so trude brought the pictures after all. I thank her for that] please give her my regards too. Now i have to give her one too. You're right, i'll order more from rohringer and give her one when she wants me to write something on it, then she can send one or give it to you and you can send it to me! lisel sent me her my regards again. We missed each other at the train station, but that's not so bad. She was with me again on sunday. I'm doing perfectly, as always. But the weather is horribly cold, is it where you are too? maybe i'll drive over here again tomorrow, it's a nice day too. I can't tell you anything new, it's always the same old story. Well, my mom, i'm looking forward to getting the mail when i get home to the barracks, hopefully there will be something from you. All the best and best wishes and kisses from your hansl. Date: 24 May 1944.
