In the center is the madonna and child enthroned holding a rose in her hand, a probable reference to the emblem of the malatestas who may have commissioned the work. From left to right the saints represented are: jerome, michael, james, john the baptist, peter and paul. The half-busts in the upper register are attributed to the master of roncaiette.
