Derived, presumably, from the portrait that the royal aragonese society of friends of the country commissioned in 1787 from juan andrés merklein to keep in the institution, ametller's plate was used to illustrate the "acts of the royal academy of noble arts established in zaragoza with the title of saint louis, and a list of the prizes it distributed on august 25, 1801", as well as in the "praise of the mr. D. Juan martín de goycoechea" by pedro valero, read in the obituary session dedicated to him by the economic society of friends of the country on december 5, 1806. Date: circa 1801.
