A scene of bacchic abandon in a low-ceilinged room, with a dancer at right, her skirts pulled up to her waist, rehearsing with a violinst whose breeches are rolled down; behind at right, another violinst and dancer copulating; at centre, a nude woman playing the tambourine and a nude man defectating in a pot; at right, a nude woman washing her clothes in a tub.
