Ib abelsøn plans to help the noblewoman elsebeth buchwald and her family to flee from the swedes at the gjorslev castle. The chicken boy palle makes her evil mother kulsoen believes that he has hidden a package with their silverware in the loft in the hut of ib abelsøn. The eager kulsoen goes up there but when she asks him to look out he removes the ladder so she can't get down. He spots the confused kulsoen by saying that she wanted to fool him and now he has fooled her. Date: Original illustration from the 1890s, here reprint from 1909..
