Description the amstel, seen in a southeasterly direction towards the omval from amsteldijk 154 on the other side from left to right two mills; the boat maker's shop on the corner of the omval; a house and inn de omval on the corner of the weespertrekvaart. On the amstel a tent boat and some play yachts. At the front right three men are resting, one of whom is smoking a pipe. Technique: etching.
