My beloved mum! i've finally got around to greeting you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you too for your lovely letters, which i've been waiting for because of the air raid. I'm just very surprised that the reply to my telegram came later than the letters. The main thing, my mum, is that you're healthy and that everything is still ok. As i told you, the money and stamps have already arrived. Thank you again for everything. Especially for the packet of cigarettes, it arrived very quickly.
