Goettingen Buergerdenkmal 01, Friedrich Besemann, circa 1820

Bürger's memorial (sic!) in seelen's, formerly ulrich's garden. The memorial to gottfried august bürger was erected in a restaurant garden in front of the albanitor in göttingen at the suggestion of ludwig christoph althof. The sculptors were the brothers ludwig daniel heyd and johann wolfgang heyd from kassel. Date: circa 1820.
