Third of henry holiday's original ilustrations to "the hunting of the snark" by lewis carroll. This illustrates the end section of fit the first: the landing. The butcher has said he can only butcher beavers, and so:
yet still, ever after that sorrowful day,
whenever the butcher was by,
the beaver kept looking the opposite way,
