Resurrection of a young child in front of the miraculous statue of notre-dame de pontoise. At the foot of the statue of the virgin (dated from the 13th century) in the church of notre-dame de pontoise, is depicted the scene of the miracle of a very young child who comes back to life. The kneeling mother witnesses the miracle, her arms spread out in a gesture of imploration and surprise. Two young girls, probably the child's older sisters, have their hands joined in prayer. On the right, in a shaded area, a man presents himself as a pilgrim, covered in a brown garment, a staff in his hand and barefoot. Object Type: painting. Date: between circa 1840 and circa 1841. Dimensions: 74 x 60 cm. Medium: oil on canvas. Rose d'Arquinvilliers - Résurrection d'un jeune enfant devant la statue miraculeuse de Notre-Dame de Pontoise
