Goldfinch on a fruit-bearing fig branch, ca. 1693-1700, by maria sibylla merian & johanna helena herolt ella reitsma has interpreted this as a joint work by maria sibylla merian and her older daughter johanna herolt. Maria sibylla is said to have drawn the bird and the butterfly, and johanna herolt the fig branch.
