Immaculate of El Escorial, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, between 1660 and 1665

This work is one of the inmaculadas by bartolomé esteban murillo with a more youthful appearance, which links it with the sevillian tradition of the also sevillian painter francisco de zurbarán, and with the recommendations on the representation of this theme expressed by francisco pacheco in his arte de la pintura, which he wrote in 1649.
