Originally pest hungarian theatre. The construction, realized as a result of the national cooperation, the total cost of which amounted to 268,575 forints and 5 and 1/2 krajcár, was started on september 26, 1835, and the shrub festival was held on august 6, 1836. The building was designed in a classicist style by györgy telepi, and the construction was led by mátyás zitterbarth. From 1840 it was called the national theater. It was significantly rebuilt and expanded in 1860 and 1875, closed in 1908, and demolished in 1913. [1]. Date: 1875.
