The karlsturm of the grossmünster on the replica of the altar panels by hans leu in the architectural history archive of the city of zurich in the haus zum rech. The panoramic view of the left bank of the limmat - the viewer's 'location' is probably the karlsturm of the grossmünster - by hans leu the elder is considered to be the oldest reliable depiction of the city of zurich, captured with great attention to detail on the altar panels in the grossmünster at the end of the 15th century. The original panels are now on display in the state museum, and a (presumably) 1:1 replica is publicly accessible in the city archives.
