Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 826, 10 October 1919

826. Cross-akroteria on the lid of a kyunets (pot) in the cemetery of karshiak in plovdiv. Its wings are cylindrical, the lower one is longer and based on the top of the hood. The whole pot is made of clay - red, baked, it was placed instead of a monument on the western end of the grave. Candles and a lamp are burning in it; four four-winged crosses are cut for windows. Dimensions: heights: at the waist 11 cm; on the lid 8 cm; on the pot 40 cm; widths: at the waist 9 cm; of the pot and lid 32 cm diameter; thickness of the wings at the waist 3. 5 cm diameter; on the small crosses 10x5x1 cm. Sketched on october 10, 1919. (item 7, arr. 41. ). Date: 10 October 1919.
