(german name: "teufelsdorf", later "ellgoth"; czech name: "czotowahoza", later "čertova lhota" or only "lhota" (german: "marienberg", names until 1901, since 1901: "mariánské hory").;bishop stanislaus thurzo von olmütz (1470-1540) gave this village as present to the town ostrau with the obligation on a yearly delivery with carps and pikes to his castle.;there was later an industrial areal with a mine as core point.;since 1847 were in the near of this village built the tracks of the „kaiser-ferdinand-nordbahn“ from vienna to krakau in poland. (railway station "mährisch-ostrau").
