round plaster statuette depicting louise colet. She is crowned with flowers and seated on a studded chair bordered with fringes; she wears a low-cut dress with abundant pleats. Historical commentary:
an ancient tradition saw in this sculpture "louise colet receiving the crown of the floral games" based on the iconography which represents her here, wearing a crown of flowers. However, the poet never received this distinction. On the other hand, the poetry prize of the french academy was awarded to him in 1843, 1851, 1853 and 1854.
