Painting "lieutenant general minutolli in the siwah oasis" with monogram of the painter louis faure oil on canvas 100 x 128 cm, around 1823 minutolli in a dark red robe sitting in a tent. The painting is based on a drawing by minutolli and belonged to the art collection of friedersdorf/queis castle until 1945 due to the marriage of minutolli's granddaughter to one of the counts of pfeil and klein ellguth. It appeared on the munich art market in 1987 and was purchased by the association for the promotion of the egyptian museum berlin ev. The last owner waived his rights in favor of the association.
