You can imagine how i waited for it. I thought my letter hadn’t reached you. Well, as i see, thank god everyone is healthy, which is the main thing. I am also completely healthy here and am working hard. It’s lunchtime now, so i have a bit of time to write. Time is very short here, so everything goes very quickly. Karl and i have already found our way around. Dear mama, you write about cleaning and sewing, which is going really well now. I'd like to believe that you want to help me, but unfortunately that's not possible. Well, who knows what it's good for! we haven't had an air raid yet. I don't know what it's like in hanover. It won't be that bad. You don't need to send me anything yet. I'll send my suitcase off in the near future. It's a shame that nothing came of the pictures from hackelbauer. When i get out i'll have myself photographed [???]. Please go to the photographer and send me a picture of yourselves. So that i always have you with me. Thank you for the letter from toni [???] and the card from "saferl". Both arrived here earlier than your letter. Date: 27 February 1941.
