His majesty's brig penguin vignette. " this aquatint vignette depicts the two-masted brig sloop penguin, in port broadside view, sailing in a calm sea. Her lower main courses are furled, but her other sails are in full use. A british ensign flies at her gaff yard. Figures can be seen on her deck. This illustration was published in "liber nauticus and instructor in the art of marine drawing", volume i, by dominick serres and john thomas serres. ". Date: 1 March 1805.
