Top left the inscription: af beeldinge vande fortificatien ende voorder gelegentheden soo van beslooten plaatsen en woningen des conings van macasser als de buijten ofte voorsteeden daer anex alles met a. B. C. Indesec kaart gestelt. Alongside this inscription is the key, which runs from a-q. In the foreground several vessels are depicted; in the centre houses and right of centre a fort.
