Clay vessel of brown ware. Belly shape with a flat, oval bottom surface and a neck that narrows towards the flared mouth edge. A vertical lug on either side joins the mouth edge to the base of the neck. Four s-shaped horizontal flanges and between each one a button-shaped projection form a decorative line around the bellyiest part of the vessel. The surface for the most part covered by a dark layer of paint. In the two fields where the lighter color of the goods appears, line decoration in black is visible. (general catalog).
