CS p2.264 - Worsley Hall, Lancashire - Morris's County Seats, 1868, 1866

Worsley new hall, in worsley near manchester. Built in 1846 by edward blore for francis egerton, 1st earl of ellesmere, on the site of a previous building later called worsley brick hall. The hall was badly damaged by fire in 1943 and demolished in 1949. Date: 1866.
