A companion print to bmsat 6154. A lean parson on a sorry-looking horse rides, right to left, along a country road. He wears a gown and bands, with an ill-fitting wig partly concealing his hair. Under his arm is a portfolio inscribed "sermon". He has just passed an inn door (right) in which stands a fat butcher holding a tankard, who grins complacently towards him. Two grinning yokels stand behind the butcher. The sign of a harrow hangs from a projecting beam. C. 1782
