Chouteau's Pond, View Northwest from Eighth and Clark Streets, 1850

A horse and buggy led by a man, as well as and many people and a dog along chouteau's pond. The view is to the northwest from eighth and clark streets. H. Chouteau's residence can be seen across the lake and collier's white lead factory can be seen off to the right. There is a canoe on the lake and many large trees appear along the river including one in the center of the daguerreotype. Title: chouteau's pond, view northwest from eighth and clark streets.
