Edgar stirling auchincloss and hugh dudley auchincloss' 70 footer sloop katrina (archibald cary smith design, 1888), built of steel at the piepgras shipyard, city island. She is pictured here in the leg from martha's vineyard to marblehead of the new york yacht club annual cruise, which she lost on corrected time to the wayward on august 8th, 1892 new york times - the yacht cruising fleet rounds cape cod. Date: 8 August 1892.
