Soldier in uniform drawn in pencil and enhanced with watercolor by lejeune and autographed "ein würmser hüssar" (21 x 12 cm). Probably executed during the battle of marengo: this is a hussar belonging to the armed corps of anton mignot de bussÿ, the "bussy hunters". They were nicknamed "the hussars of death". Date: 1800.
