Unique copy, being actually bound in human skin. In centre of front cover is a design of a skull, modelled in leather and with teeth of ivory, vellum doublures and fly leaves, gauffered and painted edges (preserved in a levant morocco case). £52 10s this extra-ordinary specimen of bookbinding forms a fitting cover to the book itself — the dance of death — being a series of coloured plates showing death seizing all sorts and conditions of people. Date: 1915.
