description:
archaic vase in the shape of a hu with an ovoid body extended by a wide short neck topped by a slightly plateaued lip. It rests on a well-defined, slightly flared foot. The body is divided into three registers: above the foot four oval medallions decorated with a stylized dragon on a leiwen 雷纹 background. In the center of the body, on either side of it, a quadrilobed rectangular medallion presenting two stylized dragons standing on either side of a character also on a leiwen background. On the shoulder we find the same medallions as above the foot. On either side of the shoulder, separating the medallions two by two, two grip buttons. On either side of the collar a rectangular medallion presenting two dragons standing on either side of a point on a leiwen 雷纹 background. With the exception of the lower edge of the foot, the piece is covered with a dark green covering speckled with lighter spots called "tea dust". On the base printed qianlong brand. Marks, inscriptions, hallmarks:
