Le rusquec in 1846 (wrote le rusquet in the caption of the engraving published in the work voyagespicturesques et romantiques. Which describes it as follows: "we pass near the ruined castle of rusquec, its walls are covered with ivy, and the groves of the garden, formed of old abandoned lilacs; the main chimney is twelve feet wide; the main basin is formed of a single granite stone twelve feet in diameter and twenty inches thick, and twenty inches deep").
