Wolf hunt with traps: in the foreground, to left, a hunter on horseback lures the wolves by dragging a dead ram along the ground, attached to the horse's tail; above him, two huntsman, armed with shotguns, hide in a tree; to the right, before a fenced building, a wolf hangs suspended from a trap, while two others approach the bait on the ground; beyond, to the left of the building, another huntsman hidden in a tree shoots down a wolf engraving.
