The lighthouse and surrounding pine trees in the print are part of the sumiyoshi shrine, one of the oldest shinto shrines in japan. The shrine, dedicated to the gods of the sea, was a very popular attraction in the settsu province near idemi beach. Just like his view of the takashi beach, hiroshiges view of idemi beach overlooks the osaka bay towards the island of awaji in the background. "
