This sea chart of the mace and nutmeg-produciing banda islands was first published in a 1664 edition of janssonius's atlas maritimus. Pieter schenck and gerard valk republished the map with the firm's imprint. The map is embellished by a fine title-cartouche flanked by sea-putti. Date: between 1680 and 1709.
