A. I. Vishnyakov peasant feast late 1760s - early 1770s canvas, oil. 47. 5 x 59 on the reverse side: original by al vishnekova. Received in 1918 from the oph, petrograd zh-3144 alexander vishnyakov’s painting is one of the earliest depictions of peasant meals. The grotesque nature of the entire scene is similar to the depiction of crude nature typical of dutch and flemish paintings by 17th-century masters, which were imitated by russian artists of the mid-18th century. Canvas, oil. 47. 5 x 69 on the reverse side: original by al vishnekova. Received: 1918 from the voph* in the 1980 catalogue it is listed as a work by the 18th-century artist al. Vishnekova and is not dated. According to n. M. Moleva and e. M. Belyutin assumes that the author is the youngest son of i. Ya. Vishnyakov. N. M. Moleva and e. M. Belyutin date the painting to the turn of the 1760s - 1770s (moleva, belyutin 1965**, p. 162). Ya. V. Brook also dates the creation of "peasant feast" to the 1760s - early 1770s (brook 1990***, pp. 129, 250). Date: Late 1760s - early 1770s.
