Michael wening: schäftlarn monastery in the isar valley. The new monastery buildings around the gothic monastery church were built between 1702 and 1707. Wening's engraving from 1701 therefore initially only showed the planned project, which was also realized in this form. It was not until 1733 that the old church was demolished and replaced by a new baroque building. Date: 1701.
