the "crested" service is a variation of the famous "rousseau" service, born from the collaboration between félix bracquemond and the merchant-publisher eugène rousseau. The shape of the plate, attributed to eugène rousseau, is inspired by 18th century porcelain, while the decoration created by bracquemond uses models from japanese prints.
