20. Nürnbergerhof (Nuremberg Court), entrance at the Schnurgasse (Line Lane)., circa 1896
The "nuremberg court" stretches along the street "hinter dem lämmchen". The court belonged to the glauburg family as early as 1280. The part of the court that stretches from the northern archway to schnurgasse was originally called the "schmiedhof" and was bought by the glauburgs in 1437. The glauburg court only took on the name "nuremberg court" in 1424. In this picture we can see the entrance to the nuremberg court (or former schmiedhof) from schnurgasse. Date: circa 1896.
