To get away from the stubborn duty i said i had lost my gas mask goggles and had to see the doctor. So i was sent off to h. I left here this morning at 7. 20 a. M. The train takes 30 minutes. I was at the doctor's at 10 a. M. And was seen straight away; it only took about 10 minutes. Now i'm going to stay here all day and have a good time. I had a great lunch and in the afternoon i went to the cinema. It's much nicer here than in blankenb. There's a lot more going on. There's also an octopus ride here. Date: 2 March 1944.
