My beloved mum! i want to send you my heartfelt greetings again today. I was delighted to receive your lovely airmail letter. I now have a request for you. Imagine that yesterday i was playing around with our medic's fever thermometer. I held it over the candle to see if it rose. And yet i was told to do something so stupid! please look at home to see if you can get one and send it to me well packaged after the parcel ban. So please try.
