Among the figures portrayed are adolf von lützow (in the gray military coat), friedrich friesen, the cofounder of german gymnastics, fraternity brother, and educator (to the left of lützow), friedrich ludwig jahn, the "father of gymnastics" (to the right of lützow), and theodor körner.
