Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 144, 1 July 1916

144. Khurka of grandmother marinitsa tutnata from the city of teteven; it was made of hazel wood 30-40 years ago. The shaft is elliptical and is inserted into the cleft of the club; it is made of a thin ribbon of hazel, which is wound into the ellipse so as to form a four-winged cross. The handle of the khurka is layered with small triangles cut with a knife. Shell dimensions: 10x8. 5x0. 5 cm. Sketched from the original in july 1916. (vol. 2, obr. 166. ). Date: 1 July 1916.
