Unsigned illustration (maurice sand?) for george sand's short story "melchior" republished with his novel "indiana", paris, hetzel, 1861, p. 87. Illustration on the front page of the news. The illustration is not signed. All those by tony johannot bear the signature "t. Johannot": this one does not, so i suppose it is a drawing by maurice sand. Engraving by h. Delaville (signature lower right). Date: 1861.
