iconographic description:
hunting and fishing. Imaginary genre scene, caricatures, humans with animal heads, male portrait and study of a female character in period costume. Two police officers, gendarmes with dog's heads, man with fish's head, fishing rod, marmot's head, rodent. Architectural study: window. Historical commentary:
the computer inventory numbers are made up of that of the notebook: card06424, the folio number and the letters a (folio recto) or b (folio verso). Concerning the types, cf. C. F. Getty, 1986. The guiaud album (card06423) also contains sketches of types, passers-by, elegant people, portraits and common people. Two leaves have been detached between p. 38 and 39.
