Evdokia (avdotia) ivanovna golitsyna (1780—1850), princess, daughter of the earl i. M. Izmailov and duchess a. B. Yusupova. Wife of prince golitsyn s. M. (from 1799). Hostess of the salon (réunion de dames) in st. Petersburg, a frequent visitor of which in 1817—1820 was a. S. Pushkin. Many contemporaries called her as a "princesse nocturne" ("princess of the night") or "princesse de minuit" ("midnight princess"). Object Type: painting. Genre: portrait. Date: between 1800 and 1802.
